The First Five Yuba Commission (formerly Yuba County Children and Families Commission) was formed in January 1999 to implement the 1998 Proposition 10 California Children and Families Act funded by tobacco taxes. Since its inception, First Five Yuba has been committed to supporting good health, school readiness, family resources, and collaborative systems of care for Yuba County children aged zero through five years old, and their families.
