Each quarter we like to recognize an employee who exemplifies what we stand for at Peach Tree Healthcare.

Our 2011 Second Quarter winners are:

Congratulations to Belinda Chamness for being selected Employee of the Quarter. Belinda is a CMA/Phlebotomist at Peach Tree Healthcare. She works in the Women's Health Dept. She goes above and beyond every day! Belinda frequently volunteers to cover at other clinics and works other shifts. She often assists in the front office –she even went to MIC on her day off to get trained in registration! Belinda helped with the Sutter County move and even stayed after she was done working to finish organizing some supplies. Belinda is truly a team player and is constantly looking for ways to improve our clinic. She is an asset to Peach Tree Healthcare!

Belinda likes working with Vonda Treat on the BCEDP program and loves working at Peach Tree Clinic. She has 5 children ranging in age 18-36 years old and has 5 grandchildren ranging in age 3-18 years old.

Belinda belongs to North Valley Calvary Chapel and loves going on mission trips and helping wherever necessary. She volunteers for the American Red Cross. In her spare time she likes to sew, spend time with her children, going to the movies with friends or just spending a quiet evening at home. She 1 year of sign language and will continue again in September.

Congratulations to Tang Yang for being selected Employee of the Quarter. Tang is a dedicated employee who has been with Peach Tree Healthcare for almost 7 years. She is a walking, talking encyclopedia of registration information.

Tang is the front office lead for 4 clinics and 2 dental vans. Tang never hesitates to take on new duties and most recently, she assumed the task of leading all registration staff through the implementation of the practice management system. She has not only spent hours creating templates, and answering the questions of her registration staff, she has stepped out and spent time training many of her co-workers from other departments. Additionally, Tang has the responsibility of training all her department's new employees.

Outside the office, Tang loves to travel and she is a devoted auntie to her 11 nieces and nephews and a very dedicated daughter and sister. She has 4 sisters (4 brother-in-laws), 2 brothers, 6 nephews, 5 nieces, 1 great nephew and 1 great-niece on the way.

Tang graduated from Lindhurst High School and is currently enrolled at Yuba College. She loves relaxing at the beach with a good romance novel, traveling and always spending time with family

Our 2011 First Quarter winners are:

Mary is a Business Office Liaison for Peach Tree Clinic. She has worked at the Clinic since July 2009. She assists patients with Medi-Cal applications, answering patient questions regarding their statements, providing assistance the Registration staff and setting up payment plans for our patients.

Mary has 22 years of experience in the medical field and brings that knowledge to Peach Tree Clinic. She believes in the importance of the programs and she considers herself an advocate and takes pride in working for a wonderful organization like Peach Tree Healthcare. She enjoys helping Peach Tree’s patients with any questions and concerns they might have. Mary is a Yuba City High School graduate.

She attended Bauder College for Fashion Design and attended Yuba College for Business Management. She is married to her husband of 23 years and has a son named Joshua. She has her own business, Teddylu Fashions. Her jewelry is made out of semi-precious stones, crystal beads & antique silverware. She also enjoys sewing, knitting & crocheting.

Our 2010 Fourth Quarter winner is:

Congratulations to Jack Crowder for being selected as Employee of the Quarter. Jack has been with Peach Tree Healthcare a little over 7 ½ months. Within a very short period of time, Jack was able to learn his job duties fairly quick and process tasks without errors. He is very hard working, takes a lot of initiative, and is very dedicated to his job. Each week, he makes certain that each of the payroll checks are processed accurately and timely. Just recently, additional duties were given to him in processing payroll. He did not even blink an eye and said, "No problem," knowing that the time constraint to get payroll submitted would not change with the extra work load. He is always willing to help everyone, especially management when they are not here and need help with timecards. Jack continues to impress us with his continuous efforts and his great deal of knowledge. We sincerely appreciate everything he does on a daily basis.

Jack's fiancée's name is Rebecca Lewis. They have two children, Rebecca's daughter Ellana who is ten years old, and son Michael who is 16 months. Jack was working in Sacramento but after Michael was born he realized he needed to be closer to home. He was hired as a temp at Peach Tree Healthcare in June and was kept permanent in September. From day one he realized what a special place he had found. He felt not only the working atmosphere extremely friendly and team oriented, but the opportunities opened by working so close to Yuba City have been priceless to his family and him. They just finished the purchase of their first home and are looking forward to their new lives as home owners. Jack would like to thank Peach Tree Healthcare for giving him this opportunity to be part of a business that gives so much to the community it serves. Working in an environment like this with so many friendly co-workers makes it easy to come to work motivated.

Our 2010 Third Quarter winner is:

The employee of the quarter is Cruz Saldana. Cruz does a great job of keeping the VFC vaccines organized, logged and distributed. She is very conscientious about accurately tracking these vaccines and her dedication to the program resulted in an award for PeachTree from the State. The state Vaccine Rep nominated PeachTree Healthcare for an award for being one of the most organized and knowledgeable clinics with our VFC vaccines – this is due to Cruz’s diligence and dedication. PeachTree was also awarded a “Health-Dept look alike status” due to Cruz’s great job! This status allows us to receive many additional free vaccines for our adult patients! Cruz is an asset to PeachTree Healthcare – we are lucky to have such a valuable employee!!

Our 2010 Second Quarter winner is:

Congratulations to Judy Thornhill for being selected as employee of the quarter. Judy is a dedicated long term employee. Besides performing her duties as a laboratory scientist, she helps out in many other areas. She is an extremely generous person. When another employee’s husband was being sent to Afghanistan, she arranged and paid for her lawn to be mowed. When one of our adopt-a-families needed a crib, she personally bought it. Thanks Judy for being such a great worker and for being so kind to others. Judy enjoys reading and scrap booking. She has 2 grown children. Judy loves the mission of Peach Tree Healthcare and the employees she works with.

Our 2010 First Quarter winner is:

Ferhat Indi is originally from Turkey and has been in the United States for approximately 1 year. He graduated from European University of Lefke and got his BA in Computer Engineering. He worked in Istanbul Turkey. He joined us as an independent contractor in October, taking over for Tim Thomas. At that time we were in the midst of upgrading our equipment and Network. We threw a lot at him and it was difficult at first; however, he was determined to resolve any issue that came his way. Eventually, his efforts earned him a full-time position at Peach and, because of him we have enjoyed many IT improvements. His list of accomplishments are too numerous to list here; however, the most important thing is that Ferhat is a team player all around, he is immediately responsive to everyone, determined and never gives up. So many employees have made positive comments about working with him

Our 2009 Third Quarter winner is:

Veronica is a hard working and dedicated employee who began working for Peach Tree 5 years ago. She is currently a Staff Accountant and enjoys being part of a great accounting team! You can always count on her to get the job done. She is always helpful to others and never says no. Veronica is a valuable asset to the accounting department and her contributions are very well appreciated every day. Veronica is a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team!

She has been married for 2 years to her high school sweetheart, who is a great husband and father. They are proud parents of their very active 18 month old daughter. She received her A.A. in Interior Design and is currently finishing up her B.A. in Business Administration. She enjoys family get-togethers, taking road trips, cooking and loves being called Mommy!

Our 2009 Second Quarter winner is:

Liz has been working in Pediatrics for 12 years, the last 2 years being with Peach Tree Clinic. She is a Certified Medical Assistant as well as Certified Plemotomist.

Liz is married to Alex and they have two children, Eliana age 6 and Alex Jr. age 3. In addition to spending time with her family, Liz enjoys going to the lake, working out and scrapbooking. She also volunteers for health screenings held at Yuba County preschools.

Our 2008 Fourth Quarter winner is:

Joelle started with Peach Tree clinic as a student extern for 8 weeks. A week after her graduation from Heald College in April 2008, we hired Joelle as a ward clerk. She was recently promoted to a back office MA for Dr. Phung. She has a great sense of humor, always has a smile and goes out of her way at all times to provide excellent customer service! Joelle assists with Dr. Price's patients, always volunteers to help out for weekend coverage, health fairs, or wherever is needed. Joelle is an asset to Peach Tree!

Outside of work, Joelle likes spending time with her family, shopping and going to the movies.

Our 2008 Third Quarter winner is:

Maribel initially began working as a student at Peach Tree Clinic. She was always eager to learn, taking on many tasks. After her externship was up, she expressed interest in working at Peach Tree. She was offered a position as a Registration Tech in April 2008. Maribel jumped at the opportunity to work at Peach Tree and felt honored to be a part of the team. Maribel’s upbeat and bubbly personality has had a positive impact on everyone around her. She is always willing to separate the patient line when needed and greets the patients with a great big smile and a friendly attitude. Maribel is a joy to work with and has received many patient compliments in regards to her excellent customer service, as well as compliments by her fellow co-workers. Maribel is a proud mother of two beautiful girls and a great husband. She enjoys her time at home with her family and friends.

Our 2008 Second Quarter winner is:

Mary has been employed with Peach Tree Clinic as a Registered Dental Assistant for five years. She has worked in the dental field for about 20 years. She is a proud mother of a son named Zach and lived in the Sutter County area all her life, and is currently residing in Gridley with her new extended family.

She is working on the Sutter County Smiles Van and finds the experience rewarding. She enjoys giving back to the community and seeing the children smile after their dental treatment is a complete joy. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to make a difference in any child's life and feels that the children are our future and each child deserves quality dental care.

We are pleased to celebrate Mary as our Employee of the Quarter for April, May & June!

Our 2008 First Quarter winner is:

Carrie has only been with Peach Tree Clinic since September 2007, but in that time she has proven herself to be a hard worker who never hesitates to take on extra duties. She always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to assist patients and her fellow employees. She has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 4 years, is the Lead Nurse at the clinic in Linda, and is a great addition to our team.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys participating in the local Relay for Life, going camping, waterskiing, and spending time with her children.
