Yuba County Children's Mobile Dental Van

The Yuba County Children’s Mobile Dental Van is a self-contained, state-of-the art, full service dental clinic with a 4-person, bilingual staff consisting of a dentist and a dental assistant.

We offer complete and thorough oral exams, x-rays, dental cleaning, preventive dental procedures along with individual oral hygiene instruction. Dental procedures may include fillings, baby root canal treatments, extractions and sealants.

The Yuba County van was purchased by First 5 Yuba. Marysville Joint Unified School District provides coordination, outreach, and maintenance of the van. Peach Tree Healthcare operates and staffs the van.

Baby root canals
Stainless steel crowns
Sealants
Cleanings and fluoride
Dental Care Education

Follow up exams will be scheduled on a need-be basis, with those most at risk receiving attention first. Families not enrolled in health insurance programs will be given the opportunity for programs available through Peach Tree Clinic in Spanish and Hmong languages.

The mobile van provides comprehensive dentistry to children 0-5 and their families at school sites in Yuba County. Children will improve the quality of their oral health by establishing oral hygiene routines and by learning the value of preventive dentistry. The Yuba County Dental Van is Owned and maintained by Marysville Joint Unified School District, funded by First Five Yuba and operated by Peach Tree Healthcare.

Yuba County Department of Public Health will partner through the expansion of their current dental health education activities.
